I make something similar to this! Milk gravy on toast or whatever it's called I guess: I melt a stick of butter and add a small about of flour to make a paste, add milk, stir... keep adding milk as the flour/butter paste thickens the milk to create a sauce or gravy... add pepper. Then, I serve it over toast that has slices of corned beef on top of it.
It's very good, but not very good for you!

It's very good, but not very good for you! It was a regular meal when I was in the National Guard and our name for it was S.O.S. which stand for...Shit on a Shingle. Besides the rather disgusting name for it, it is quite tasty! --If a man is considered guilty for what goes on in his mind, then give me the electric chair for all my future crimes.-- Electric Chair/Batman/Prince

The recipe that I posted is from the Brown Hotel in Louisville Kentucky. The Kentucky Hot Brown is a world famous dish and it differs greatly from S.O.S. If y'all eva n Louisville, make sure to stop by the Brown and orda a plate...if ya make it 2 London, Kentucky just stop by the Bear & Boar Resort and we will make sure that you leave with a full stomach. In the south we don't really care what is good for us. We just make sure that it tastes good.
