I just finished watching a documentary on Hulu called "Step". It's about the Step team from the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women. It followed the step team their final year of high school. In 2016, they had a 100% of the young women graduating from school, accepted into college. But their stories were heart breaking at times, from having no food in the refrigerator to the power being turned off again. I've been there at various times in my life, so I could relate to them on that, but their perseverance, determination to improve their own lives, and the staff / teachers at the school, not giving up on these girls. Let's show them some Purple Love.
