we seem to have no problem with running them over on the roadways. treating them like sh1t by not even taking the time to slow down on the road when we encounter them, heartlessly not caring if they are injured and leaving them to die slow deaths on the side of the road. i can't think of anything meaner than that

Ewww, not me, I don't kill living things, unless it's a spider. I don't run over things either. I'd much rather take the ditch then to hit a creature.

good for you! they pretty much know me by name at the local wildlife rehabilitation center it's a weird way to drive, but when i see an animal lying on the roadside i pull over and see if it's still alive. there have been some kind of gross moments when i find they have been dead for quite some time.

cats, dogs, raccoons, possums, turtles, birds of various species, deer.... every time i drive to the cabin there are some really heart breaking moments along the way. once i called in to work late in order to take a crow to the rehab center. somewhere along the way it passed on and i went from being a woman on a rescue mission to an old lady driving down the freeway with a dead bird in a box.

if i could earn enough money to live on by working for a rescue center i'd work there, but every time i check there are only unpaid internships and volunteer positions. so for now it's just search and rescue. thanks for listening

Chipmunks and Squirrels are good people, but when you want them to get in the studio and record some knock off music, you have to play by THEIR terms.

Wolves and Raccoons - so what! I live with a bear and I have to say apart from being quite sloppy and messy they are good house guests very practical and strong.
