I met Plato about 5 years before she passed. I was working at Regis Salon in Tulsa, OK. She came in looking for a conditioner. Her hair was a rat's nest. She had just completed a film where all but fried her hair. She was letting it grow out, but it was rough. I knew I recognized her face, but it did not click until she gave me her check. I was like "I know her." It was not until she left that I realized who she was. I ran out to say hi to her again, and tell her how much I loved the show. She had her son with her, buying something at a toy store.

I was very sad when I heard she passed. I knew about her struggles, as we all did. She looked quite well when I saw her in Tulsa. Eyes were clear, she was alert, and most likely sober.

If there was ever a poster child for child actors growing up and getting in trouble, it was Gary, Todd, and Dana.

Exactly, That is their curse that they grow up in that environment.

It's usually the last season, all the kids are a little to older by then.

Sooo... Danny Cooksey doesn't count?

....Now if they(Danny/Todd) somehow were responsible for "offing' each other" at some point... .then you'd have a case closed example of a TV SHOW curse.

He didn't count then so I'm guessing that still applies.

Mary Jo Catlett - "Pearl" who replaced Mrs. Garrett (forgot about her) is also still alive
