For those of you that made up baskets for children or others, what did you fill them with? Do you hide them or just give them to people?




I hide the ones for my kids... you know, like the Easter Bunny really came and all.

My son: Shorts, Spiderman Tee, alarm clock, carmel-filled chocolate eggs, Jelly Belly's, and that Pancake maker you see on TV (he's wanted one forever... it's his favorite food!)

My daughter: Shorts, belt, tank top, alarm clock, carmel-filled chocolate eggs, Jelly Belly's, hair clips, brush, nail polish, loofah and bath gel.

A friend: Dos Equis, Vodka, Apple Pucker, lemons, a mixed cd of various songs, and a homemade coupon for dinner made by me.

Izzy: Salmon flavored cat treats, pizza rolls (kept in freezer), an itty-bitty-round-ball-toy-thing with white fur all over it (he loves those), and an afghan that I had my grandma make for him that she brought down today.

He LOVES them! That is where he got his name from. When I got him as a kitten I went to the kitchen to make pizza rolls and he wouldn't shut up... just kept meowing. So, I gave him a little corner of one and he went nuts. So, I combined "Dizzy" and "Pizza", to make Izzy... sort of. Anyway... that's why his name. Now, when I make them he will hang off of the oven handle with his claws and just hang there... waiting. So, he has his very own bag now.

My mom always gives me an Easter basket. This year I got a stuffed white rabbit, some fabric cutting scissors from Cutco, some Care Bear stickers, and a ton of candy. My sisters and I do an Easter egg hunt every year (with chocolate eggs) and I always win. Then my aunt comes later on in the day and we do another Easter egg hunt (with plastic eggs, filled with candy and stickers) which I always win.

It's so great to be a winner.
