Not that I was deep in it, but I got away from corporate America long, long ago. They use people like they're light bulbs or batteries, giving no thought to their mental health, physical health or anything else. Their cutesy "Hey look, we have a gym" or "we have a slide in the middle of our building!" just doesn't cut it with me. It always, ALWAYS boils down to money - it's their bottom line. If you flatline in the process, so be it.

Get your own hustle and do it every single day. Make your money however you have to that makes you happy and keeps you free. Bank it, save it, invest it.

Knowing what Azure is is diferrent from working at MS.

That's like saying everybody who discusses Windows works for MS.

I used Azure with Linux and am currently more into AWS, but that doesn't mean I work for Amazon

We live life like it will never end and work like it is temporary....yet it is the other way around.

Some say "working make us appreciate time off" yeah that is crap.

And how many people would work more if they offered time and a half or even in many cases LESS than what we normally make? (I had a job that offered $10 an hour to work over time. I told them "but I make $20 an hour now... so if they want me to work extra pay me extra $25 an hour + an hour for travel time" (my boss said I was greedy and did not really care. I said "$10 is an insult maybe if they cared it would be $25.) Now the pay is more... and now all of a sudden they have more people than they need.
