I only scanned a story yesterday, but wasn't a second guy involved? Didn't someone demand the girlfriend's jewelry because it belonged to McCoy? I got the impression that McCoy owed the wrong people some money, but I could be wrong.

Yes, the story is that a masked black male entered the girlfriend's home, beat her, and took items from her. She thinks it was a set-up. I know I read yesterday that she mentioned something about the attacker specifically asking for "McCoy's jewelry".

Maybe McCoy was mad, wanted his jewelry back, and figured this was the only way to get it.

In any event, I'd have to agree that his NFL career prospects don't look good right now.
