Anybody here had an encounter with aliens or saw a UFO?

Okay, here's my turn. I don't know if that counts as an alien encounter, but I can't explain this. So, some years ago, like, I was maybe 10 or 11 years old, my sister and I were playing football. It was 7 pm and we were the only ones there. The field is surrounded by the forrest. So my sister kicked the ball so hard it landed in there. As I went to get it back, I stopped at some plants, if you touched them they kind of popped. And I suddenly felt something looking at me, so I turned around and saw this 6ft5 guy fully dressed in the ghostface costume from scream.

Now, at first I thought someone was fucking around because they showed the movie on TV in the same week. But it didn't stop after that, it just got freakier and freakier and all the people in my area saw this dude everyday. So one day, we saw him again, laying infront of the fence, facing us. We all walked up to him, nobody took their eyes off him and when we got closer, he was gone. At first we thought our minds played a trick on us, but then my brother pointed at the spot where they guy was laying and everything was flat there. Like someone really lay there......Nobody saw him move, we were like 10 people and everyone saw the same.

And then one person said: "You know, at first I thought it was nothing, but now I think I have to tell you that." He told us that before this person, creature, whatever arrived he was taking his dog for a walk and he swore he saw a blinking thing fly over our apartment building. ( I take that with a grain of salt and so should you )

So, I don't know what to make of that, since I'm usually very sceptical but I still have no explanation for that. Plus, the cops never catched him, we never got to know what or who it was.

For those of you who don't know ghostface:

Do i think what i saw was extraterrestrial ? I doubt it.

Maybe it was top secret goverment stuff?

I was the passenger in the front seat car. Driving down the street i live on.

Out of nowhere 3 lights in the shape of a triangle appeard in the sky.

the lights stated pulsating, the object appeard to turn a bit.

Poof it was gone..

We all looked like whoa did you see that? what was that?

In all i say it was there for maybe 3 seconds. so quick and it was gone.

We've all seen planes in the sky from far away and close up.

This was to huge to be a plane

The lights in the sky i saw where like the image below

When i was like 8 or 9 years old i stayed the night over someones house.

It was night out, all the neighbors were outside pointing at some object in the sky.

All i remember it was a stationary object that had diffrent color lights.

Possibly it was a plane what ever it was it caused a commotion and drew people out of their house

ET does exist.

I believe there is life on other planets. No way is Earth the only planet with life as it presently exists.

Life on other plants? Sure, why not. But also physics on other planets. Space is big. I do not believe that any advanced beings would be interested in us. Even if they could find us....getting here would still be a problem.

Stories have been around for 100s if not 1000s of years... I think they are all just weird earth stuff or meteors or things such as the aurora borealis... but not ET.

I know that I have seen weird blinking lights that hover around and then join or vanish... but I figured out what they are... Birds... as the flap the show alternating white and dark feathers... so they seem to blink...

Yeah, someone created a creepy pasta to win a contest or something. Slender Man isn't real. And even IF he was real, that guy wasn't as tall as Slender Man. I think Slender Man is taller But he's a fictional character.

I've never seen anything out of the ordinary but i definitely believe that something could be out there. There's been some seemingly credible people who claim to have seen some pretty incredible things. Whether what they witnessed was from the government or not, i don't know though.



Anyway, here's a pretty interesting video of an encounter that happened in the 90's. I first heard about it a couple years ago, from the TV show Paranormal Witness.

As others have already said - are there aliens on other planets out there in the Universe? Almost certainly, you would think. Have any of them ever visited Earth? Almost certainly not.

Proof that aliens have visited the Earth: none whatsoever.

Proof that life has taken root anywhere but Earth: currently none whatsoever.


People should also remember that the "U" in "UFO" stands for "unidentified". Unidentified does not mean alien - that would be an identification! And, like all other possible explanations, it requires proof. "Aliens" is not a saftey-net explanation for things people can't explain.

BTW, there was an article last week that showed UFO sightings are down over the last few years. This surprised all the UFO organizations like MUFON, etc. because as the article states, there are way more ways to track the skies these days.

The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is a non-profit that investigates reports of UFO sightings. The group encourages people who have close encounters to report their sightings on the MUFON site.
