one of the great grumps, too...he was always a great interview subject. i've not read too much of his stuff, but i've always enjoyed it.

Love a lot of his work and his editing of Dangerous visions.

However I have read a lot of comments about him being an aggressive misogynistic arse far too often.

Can you separate the man from the art?

i'm with purplethunder on this. seems like a lot of successful writers have a touch (or more!) of personal madness going for them. so yes, i try to separate the work from the flawed human being who produced said art. that being said there are tons of them i wouldn't care to meet.
