I got another tattoo today.. I'd forgotten how fucking sore it is afterwards.I was in alot of pain today compared to the first one i got a couple of years ago. That was a breeze in comparison to today.
Also, i bled like crazy, which i didn't do before.I don't think i'll have another for that reason, looking at it made me feel woozy. [This message was edited Sat Apr 19 7:10:21 PDT 2003 by Marrk]

i love getting tattoed... i don't have any huge ones or anything... but i really enjoy the sensation .. the one on my hip hurt the most, because there's very little flesh there

I feel you...the one on my back was really sore everytime something touched it, which was constantly because i usually wear pants.

i just got my 3rd tattoo a couple months ago...and i'm already wantin a 4th. dammit, why must tattoos be so damned addictive? also--none of my tats really hurt when i got 'em done, but my first tattoo hurt a little bit more than the others. i have '1980' (my birth year) tatted across the fingers of my left hand, and when the tattoo guy got 2 my middle finger it kinna-sorta hurt like hell. it wuz the smallest part of my tattoo, but it hurt the most.
what's your new tat of, marrk? and where'd u get it put at, cuz that's sorta odd that u bled a lot....then again some folks have a tendency 2 bleed a lot more than others when it comes 2 tats.... it stings so good.... [This message was edited Sat Apr 19 10:50:05 PDT 2003 by Handclapsfingasnapz]

i want a 4th too...
i have a 4 leaf clover on my hip, a fairy on my lower back and a sun on my ankle... i actually don't mind the sensation...when i was getting the fairy done (my 2nd one) i fell asleep... can't wait for the next one...i'm getting a celtic knot...but i don't know where i'll put it...maybe between my shoulder blades??? you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel
Now that food has replaced sex in my life, I can't even get into my own pants.

I already had the and today i got a maori band around my other arm (same design as Faith's in Buffy, i just kind of liked it) I asked the guy about the bleeding, basically some people are prone to it and others aren't, I must have thin skin or something. [This message was edited Sat Apr 19 11:32:57 PDT 2003 by Marrk]

i don't think i could ever fall asleep while gettin a tattoo, cuz i get enveloped in watchin what the tattoo artist is doin. "u can turn your head, if u want--" "nah, it's cool, i like 2 watch!" the numbing sensation u get after a while kix ass, i love it!!! '

yup! me, i'm a light bleeder... He was telling me about an older guy who was ill and took aspirin to thin his blood, he bled a puddle on the floor. It is an odd, weird sensation seeing your own blood leaking out of you, and knowing you've done it on purpose.

The guy who does all my work says he gets about 2-3 people a week that pass out while in the chair.

they all first-timers? i remember when i wuz gettin my 2nd tattoo done, there wuz this woman standin in the lobby-thing outside the room where i wuz gettin tatted. she wuz just starin in awe at me and goin, "ohmigod, she's sittin there like it's nothing!!! doesn't that hurt??" needless 2 say she wuz gettin her very first tat that day. i shoulda stayed behind after my session 2 see how she took it.

whoooa! the dude shouldnt've went ahead and tatted him then, if he was ill... It is an odd, weird sensation seeing your own blood leaking out of you, and knowing you've done it on purpose.
i know--it's different than when u scratch yourself or somethin like that..."oh no, i hurt myself and i'm bleedin!!" with a tat it's like, "ooh, i'm bleedin! wow!"

It is an odd, weird sensation seeing your own blood leaking out of you, and knowing you've done it on purpose. problem here is..there are some folkds who bleed easy...but then there are tattoo artists who are heavy handed and have the tendancy to make folks bleed...if you got a tat on your arm.. i am only able to speak of this..because my exboyfreind of 5 years was a tattoo artist..and he had a guy at his shop who was heavy handed vi
