Wonder Woman: 1984 is in post-production!!!

Prince related cause....duh 1984!!!

https://ibb.co/eUnQSy

Purple Rain was THE MOST OF THE MOMENT!!!

The head of Marvel Studios is Kevin Feige. He's awesome. What about we hit him up a bit on Twitter gently with an appeal to put in some Purple Rain into the movie (which promises to be HUGE!!!)...

We always talk about helping promote the appeal of Prince to newer, younger audiences in clever ways...this could be one!

I Would Die 4 U?

Let's Go Crazy?

Baby, I'm A Star??

Surely there are better ways to use your time. Also, as awesome as he may be, Kevin Feige isn’t likely to have much influence over DC movies.

Not Marvel, it's DC. MY BAD!

The head of DC is Walter Hamada but he's not on Twitter, it appears.

However, the director is Patty Jenkins who IS:

Do we need "sexuality" in a superhero movie?

Most of us just want a family friendly superhero movie. Maybe this is what you're looking for:

I just hope this one is better than the first one. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it and had the movie stopped after she killed the guy she thought was Ares, then it would have been great. But the last 20 minutes was a perfect example of how to ruin a movie. Maybe not totally but it definitely went down in my estimation when what had up to that point been a really good superhero/spy movie turned into a generic, CGI-filled mess. Which seems to be a trend with the DCEU movies so far.

Gal Gadot is great in the role though. For me, she's right up there with Christopher Reeve's Superman and Michael Keaton's Batman as the definitive version of her character. Hopefully she gets the movie she deserves next time. Even if, by setting it in the 80s, it does create a plot hole after she stated that she had walked away from the world of man 100 years ago when the war ended.

You're right about Gal Gadot as THE definitive Wonder Woman. As for the other two, not so much.......different strokes, I guess.

Ah the one to skip. With the ongoing curse on DCEU I have a feeling they're gonna find a way to rush this project and ruin it completely. Also besides the origin story what else is interesting about this character? I liked the first movie but I find her rather predictable and one dimensional. Actually, call me a hater but I gotta vent a little here now that we're on topic. One glance at the upcoming projects from both Marvel and DC, I realized I'm definitely losing interest in superhero franchise as I get older. For hell's sake who needs a standalone Joker AND a standalone Harley quin films especially Joker is at his worst. Love 30 secs to Mars sure, but his performance absolutely ruined Joker for me. Visuals look ok in the new Venom trailer but of all villains, I would think Venom needs spidey more than anyone so no, skipping that one too. Also NO ONE, not even Marvel's biggest fans want a Black Widow movie now.

Jared Leto isn't playing The Joker in the standalone movie. Juaquin Phoenix is. And it's not part of the DCEU. Besides, I don't think it's fair to judge Jared Leto's portrayal of The Joker on a 3 minute cameo in the awful Suicide Squad movie. He's a good actor and with the right script he could be a good Joker.

Whether Venom is part of the MCU is also up for debate. Neither Sony (who are producing the movie) nor Marvel have confirmed it one way or the other. My guess would be that if its good and turns out to be successful, Marvel will then consider it to be part of their story. If not, they'll likely distance themselves from it. I agree with you though. It's not a movie I'm particularly interested in.

I actually think that there's scope for a decent Black Widow movie though. I don't know about her origins in the comics or if it matches her movie version but in the movies she has a really fucking tragic backstory. If the movie goes a bit into that side of the character, it could be really good. It's definitely a chance for Marvel to do something different.

and for me, if wonder woman could please ditch the super hero bikini and dress in clothing an actual warrior would wear. because as long as wonder woman is wearing a bikini/bustier with dangerously exposed chestal body parts she ain't really right for the role and still represents a male stereotype rather than a female warrior goddess. aside from that all's well and i look forward to the release. lol

Nah, I'd hate if they covered her up. She's Wonder Woman. She comes from a place where there are no men and warriors dress the way she dresses. Why should she have to conform to another civilisation's view of what is acceptable attire to battle in. Besides, how can anyone look at Gal Gadot in full Wonder Woman costume and not see a goddess. Because that's what I see when I look at her. I certainly don't see a stereotype.
