I was a pickle freak as a kid--makes a difference if your Gramma is pickling cucumber from the garden...

I like making my own pickles, but I haven't done it in a few years. I've been saving pickle juice from pickles we buy. I play to brine a chicken in it before I bread it and put it in my air fryer.

I like making my own pickles, but I haven't done it in a few years. I've been saving pickle juice from pickles we buy. I play to brine a chicken in it before I bread it and put it in my air fryer.

My late Gramma on my Dad's side made the best home-made pickles I ever had. In fact, when she passed away there were so many jars of pickles (all kinds!) that they couldn't give them all away! LOL She also made the best fried chicken I ever had in my life.
