Cebu City is awful though. Bohol is cool (chocolate hills). Palawan stunning. Boracay most popular but tiny and now totally closed for 6 months due pollution. Gutted for the locals who rely on tourism.

Well it's not the worse city in the world. I felt pretty safe there but like anything else you have to be aware of your surroundings. There are nice areas in Cebu city and bad parts, just like any other city.




I never felt unsafe. That may have been due to the head of police of the whole Island looking after us. Haha. He’s a dude.

No, for me it’s the lack of public space. There’s nowhere for kids to kick a ball. The only big green space is a private golf club.

There’s been no city planning making it a liveable city. The fort and church are cool. Other than that, if it’s not hanging around a shopping mall, what do you do? Shabu?
