I've never tried them. I wanted to, but my friend talked me out of it.

I think the problem is sort of similar to the strip where a person asks another one: "Can I pet your dog? Does it bite?" and they reply: "Beware, it can hurt in other ways." (And the dog says something like: "Marx was right" or whatever.) Even before these apps emerged, I had been aware of the fact that just because someone looks shaggable, it doesn't mean they are good to go out with. I used to date a guy who looked sexy, but he started sympathising with a nationalist politician. The last time we saw each other, he was very anti-feminist, too...

I would need an app with photos and questionnaires with questions like: "What do you think of Donald Trump? What do you think of Black Lives Matter? What do you think of chemtrails? How often do you smoke?"

You are right, but on the other side, there different people who talk about other things than those you mentioned here, trust me...

Apps dont garanty you the date is gonna be good, you will never have security a date goes right. But what would be the fun of it all of there werent bad dates?

With the more detailed apps, you theoretically would know a lot more about a person than if you met them in a bar or doing an activity. Why would you be any more scared of STDs meeting people this way?

When it comes to this issue (STDs) I think that is no matter did you meet person online or using apps, people are honest or people laying no matter where you met them.
