Good point. I remember when I was in New York with my ex and we were hanging out with a few of his friends. We were in Toys R Us and there was a girl checking out one of my ex's friends. I tried to encourage him to approach her but he said something like "a black man approaching a white woman in a toy store? Do you want to see me locked up?". I thought he was joking around at the time but thinking about it now, you have to be careful about who you approach. Especially if you're a man. And ESPECIALLY if you're a black man in America.
