Has anyone here on the .Org, or in real life betrayed your trust?

Have any of you betrayed someone's trust?

Do tell...

Many, many... MANY years ago, I had a girlfriend that I was madly in love with. It was just after high school, she was my first 'real' love, (or so I thought).

I had a best friend that I used to write and perform music with... he was like a brother to me... (or so I thought).

Well, I'm sure you get what happened... they carried on this torrid affair right under my nose, and lied to me when I questioned them (based on this 'feeling' I was getting) to their faces... when I found out the truth, I was completely floored and devastated.

It ruined my trust factor with women for the longest time, and still is a scar and in my emotional baggage... time does heal all wounds though.

What's yours...

some of us have permanent scars where parts were not removed, but destroyed.

One of my close friend betrayed me by telling my boss that I was incapable of doing a certain project. She's a board member at the agency and used the private conversations about me complaining about my boss against me. the interesting thing was that he came straight to me and was like...what is she talking about? He didn't take her advice and thought it was quite odd. I don't talk to her to this day.

This happened last year.

Nobody at the Org has betrayed my trust. I have made some wonderful friends here!
