1. APOTHIC RED ...bold, red , dry wine...wife tried it for the first time and said it tasted like blood...stylish bottle and eyecatching label...(BEWARE) it gets you pretty fucked up for some fermented grapes...

2. ROSCATO ...semi-sweet, semi dry... for people that like red wine but dont like dry wine...

33. MIDDLE SISTER SWEET & SASSY MOSCATO ...sweet and kinda dry....nice buzz, no hangover...ladies seem to love it!

They have some excellent wines in South America. They're often quite strong (13-14,even 15 % alcohol) because the power of the sun is much stronger there. So if you like a good powerful red wine, Argentina and Chili have some excellent choices. I also bought a good one from Uruguay some time ago. I have three wine sellers within a five minute walking distance from my house (and even more if I count the night shops and the supermarkets), so plenty of choice and some knowledgeable people where I live. I can't really recommend anything, because what's available in my town may not be available in yours, but wines from South America... Yeah, give 'em a try!

I tried that because of the bottle, I've done that a couple of times before I learned that a pretty bottle doesn't mean I'mma like the wine in it.

Someone had me tasting some red that was supposed to have a hint of carmel to it, all I tasted was a lot of salt, not sure if I simply just can't taste carmel or if the salt was supposed to be the carmel taste. I couldn't drink the rest of it.

I love wine and we are spoiled for it here in New Zealand.

.

My favourites are Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, and I never say no to good bubbles, especially champagne from France. Not so much into reds, but love rose and even sparkling rose.

.

I drink much more wine than beer and generally will drnk most bottled stuff but will not touch casks or cheap carbonated sparklings, like this shit we had back in the 1990s called Marque Vue. It was just junk, all the Kiwis will know what I am talking about.

My sweet Adore, I guess you haven't been bitten by the Mad Dog? Marque Vue vs Mad Dog.....which is more stank????? crysball hmm

Girl, I have heard of that shit, and I don't want to be nothing near it. Even though I never tried it, my guess is that its fortified and has more grape flavour and than actual grape, so there is nothing to be grapeful for.

.

To be honest I would probably choose Marque Vue, as it did have muscat grapes in it (And a lot of sugar and CO2).

This is Marque Vue, although an old ad, the Pin stuff was not rose but flavour. There was nothing natural about this carbonated plonk. A lot of us teenage agers and young drag queens drank gallons of it in the 90s. It made us fabulous or tragic.
