I can’t think of many things I only do once a week although I know there would be more....

The topic came up when I was talking to a friend who recently met someone but her issue is he only showers once a week feeling ill !

And I began to ask her if he only brushes his teeth and changes his undies once a week 2 !! Sex would obviously be the day he showers so that’s once a week as well lol

Yeah, I'm kind of hard pressed on the once a week thing myself.

She's dating once-a-week shower guy?

Shave my head.

Sunday mornings in the bath, I have a nice long soak and then go over it with a razor. I love that freshly shaved super smooth feeling, though it doesn't last for too long.

I grew up knowing girls who only bathe once a week....on Sundays. It was part of their religion. They couldn’t cut their hair either.....it was down past their ass. They never wore pants either. I wonder if they’re still religious.

I heard stories of way back when, when some people didn't have indoor plumbing, entire families filling the washtub used to wash clothes for bathing Sunday before church, all using the same bath water, the youngest having to bathe last. It aint nothing new, but we don't live way back when where basic resources were hard to come by.

back when i lived in japan it was the same there, a mere two decades orso ago. their bathtubs have a function whereby the water inside can be reheated; the male head of the family bathes first (scrubs off and washes in a kind of shower before entering the bath), then the male children, then the female children, then lastly the mom. same bathwater. when my family members visited me we stayed in tokyo at a hotel known for its amazing mineral bath, which bath looked like brown scum water with floaty scales of rust(?). my sister-in-law actually pulled the plug and drained the entire bath because she thought the water needed changing. it might have, but when it refilled it looked just as nasty. poublic baths also use shared water, on the premise that folks really scrub off before entering the bath.

even with all that mind-broadening travel experience i still prefer my own private bathtub. boxed

Aw but do they only do it once a week? That's a lot of dirt layers for an entire family and one tub of water..

I quite happy to continue in my spoiled Americanized state of bathing

I don’t recall the exact day of the 3rd date - could be cheap Tuesday movie night

lol I know they do, I heard something like that before, just forgot about at this time. But I do remember the people are big on cleanliness even if the practice is a bit odd to me.
