Actually, many male entertainers get their eyebrows shaped. It's not uncommon and they do end up looking better. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes. | |

I do, at the request of my wife. I get my hair cut every three weeks, and while I'm there, they take care of my eyebrows as well. (They discreetly refer to it as an "arch.")
I used to pluck them just enough to avoid having a "unibrow," but it looks better when I have them waxed, and it's quicker too. Okay, so I'm out at GOBO liquor lounge last night, enjoying some drinks and deep house music, and I ran into a friend. He took a look at me and asked, "Do you pluck your eyebrows?" I said, "No, I have them waxed." Well, he thinks that guys should pluck their eyebrows instead of waxing them. According to him, waxed eyebrows look too fake, and he thinks that waxing is too painful. As for the pain, well, after having a needle shoved through both of your nipples, I think waxing is nothing. Besides, there's a brewpub a few doors down from the salon where I go, and if I have a glass of wine before my hair appointment, the waxing barely hurts. As for whether they look fake, well, I guess that's his opinion, and he's entitled to it. Meanwhile, I'll keep waxing 'em.
