tackam	Nope. My first tape deck wasn't purchased until the mid 80s. It was a nice pink number with those turquoise and neon green triangles and squigglies and such that were so popular among the yoots at that time.

Never had a Beta...but I did have a boom box, and I did have a tape recorder similar to the one in your pic.
