well im back home safe & well & very happy!

dad & i arived in Richmond (suburb 1hour from the city) at around 9pm last thursday.
i caught up with my friend whose birthday it was the next day... we played guitar & just had fun.
next day hangin out,helped with shopping & food stuff 4 the party that night.
around 5pm we went ice skating.
i suck at it so i found since it was my 1st time,but Hannah
(u know,the girl in sydney i like alot) was there & we talked heaps!
she was really excited 2 c me & as u can imagine,vice versa.
since the conversation we had i have a new outlook on life.
u c,her sister she told me,is in a wheelchair,she has cerebal palsy (type-o?) & they r really close.
hannah lives life with the attitude that "i have nothing 2 complain about cos she has missed out on so much,life is here 2 live!"
& its hard 2 xplain,but im really happy & inspired right now.
oh also,with the fires they had in NSW at christmas time,they had 2 avacuate twice & the fires came within 600m of their house.....
then the rain came

i was really worried 4 my friends up there.
so much so when BonJovi played LivinOnAPrayer at the gig i went 2 in melbourne,all i thought of was them.
was so glad they were all okay



so yeah back 2 hannah... hehe,.... was time 2 leave & say goodbye.... she hugged me & wouldnt let go!
hehe,but a friendly kiss (yes just friendly) & wave & that was that.
we didnt get 2 catch up again during the trip but it was all good
& i didnt ask her out of tell her all i wanted 2,
cos i chickened out as per usual,but i did tell her she was gorgeous

also my friend Hayley's family r the nicest people.
really go out of their way 2 make u feel welcome & xtremely cool.

next day i picked up my guitar from the shop cos i had 2 get strings replaced & get it lookin nice.
got a bit envious when hayley got her new electric 4 her b*day.
hopefully in 12months or so when i am good on acoustic i will get an electric.
Monday dad & i moved 2 DarlingHarbour & did the usual cd shopping bonanza we always partake in when we hit Sydney.

the cd's i snagged were:
James Brown live at the apollo volume II deluxe edition
(its a man's man's man's world, on this thing is fuckin awesome!
thanx 2 Finess 4 in4ming me of this album's greatness,glad i bought it,but where is volume I ? havent seen it around on cd atleast)

INXS "Welcome 2 Wherever You Are" . .. . . these r the remasters i didnt have yet.they r excellent especially Kick & X.

Springsteen "Nebraska"

MJ "Off The Wall" remaster
& the NPG/Steeles "Superhero" single (bit disappointed but oh well)

4 ppl in sydney...in pitt st there is a store called Dirt Cheap CD's & most of their stuff is $10au.
Alice,Springsteen,Diesel & MJ i all picked up there for $10 each.excellent stuff!

at RedEye or EGG,4get which store,i found SPace & Letitgo maxi singles but extremely crazy prices.
who would pay that much!??

tuesday we bought cd's & had lunch,dad had his usual trip 2 Starbucks & had a big ass frappucuino
dad needs a starbucks patch 2 combat this addiction

luckily we dont have starbucks in adelaide so melbourne & sydney r the only times he can indulge in it.
we only have Hudson's here which is cool

in the arvo we hit a pub,played some pool.
dad beat me 5 times







then wednesday we left,stopped halfway between adelaide & sydney at Hay.
yesterday as we left Hay 4 Adelaide,in the outback i spose u would call it,there wasnt one Roo in site,
however a dozen pelicans were sitting around.
(dad now has the nickname StormBoy at the footy club
since bringing this up )

hehe,then we arrived home at 1pm yesterday (thursday)

excellent time i had... wont 4get the time i was hangin out with hannah for a long time,teh cd's i snagged i had been after for AGES so that was cool 2 get them,
& as always the Drakes 4 a warm welcome stay & dad's company is never bad.
dad's the man!
