Human bear baiting, refuse to watch these types of shows. Making fun of human weakness, is the lowest form of entertainment, same with shitty talk shows like Maury where they have these paternity tests, Jeremy Kyle with all its uneducated working class guests who mock each other and are mocked by him.
Also the court show fad, most of this shit is made up and of course all these Pawn shop shows, which use sexually ambiguous titles like Hard core Pawn (Sounds like Hardcore porn). This is ghetto tv and is generally watched and followed by people on the same social level as the guests (Working - hand to mouth beneficiary class).
