If you do,is there or was there any family problems?Have you had any problems due to the community you live in?How do your friends influence your decision on whether you do or not?
Living in socal.its not even noticed by anyone.But I know thats not the case everywhere.Even though I have a preference,when it comes down to it,its all about whats on the inside.

Bit of of a contradiction there Crazy Horse!! Im sure U meant well . I too have no problems with interracial dating. I have dated a couple of Irish girls. Although we were the same race, there was the potential 4 religious/nationality issues and problems; me, being English. Yet, both sets of families had no problems with it

I dated this cute guy from the Dutch Antils when I was 18. Really in love, he was so sweet.

But his mom hated me. Not becuz I was a guy, but becuz I was not black. So that strained our relationship.

I have no problems with it and neither do my friends. My mom however hates the idea. I hate the fact that she's so prejudiced and I've given up trying to persuade her a LOOng time ago. Aside from her the other negative responses I've gotten are from other people of color (go figure). Being an Asian male, I tend to get negative glances if I'm walking down the street with a non-Asian woman I'm dating or not dating for that matter.

Regardless of their opinions(family included), I still date who I want. I'm a grown man and I'll not let anyone influence my decisions when it comes to my personal affairs.

I have dated many races of people...and the families have never been a problem. Most of the dirty looks/whispers come from totally random strangers on the street...making assumtions about why we're together i guess. who knows or cares? i'm happy.

Hmmm i've never been in a topic like this before here but it's a good one.

I like anyone who is well rounded and has a good personality so I don't see it as a problem, I do have a friend who dated outside his race and it was all kind of problems with HER family but they just stuck it out and have been together now for about ten years and have a little girl now for which I'm the godfather.

But anyway her parents accepted it and moved on.
I see a lot of girls I like and it doesn't make a difference what race they are, although I go for certain looks it doesn't matter what they are but what's inside.

There's not as much interracial dating where I grew up so that's why I go other places to free my mind and it's damn good for me, I suggest more people try it, freeing your mind is a damn good thing.
