Tomorrow my son and I shall spend most of the afternoon in a private bar, drinking (not too much) premium alcohol and watching all the great buzzer-beaters.
Then we are both going to ride horses around an arena. It's my favorite of all my family traditions. |

Gutted by the Houston Cougars's loss. I didn't think there was any way they were going to lose, but that's March Madness for you.
Plenty of upsets but my favorite, being the SEC honk that I am, had to be Texas A&M's complete dismantling of North Carolina. It's easy to forget that A&M was a Top-5 team early in the season. Then, they had some suspensions and injuries, and lost a bunch of games. But everyone is healthy and rehabilitated now. A&M is a force. |

Houston blew it like they did in the '83 championship game....you gotta hit your free throws.
Aggies had too much beef inside for the Tar Heels. They wore Carolina OUT. |

I follow the SEC too. Weird how the preseason picks - UK and A& M--were pretty bad during the regular season but have played up to the predictions so far in the NCAA, whereas the surprise winners of the SEC - Auburn and UT - didn't make the Sweet 16. A&M had to learn how to play together onc e everyone was healthy. |

I don't blame Davis too much. He was a 67% free throw shooter and hit 75% in that game. He over-performed but the misses came at thw worst time. But this game will do wonders for recruiting. UH has incredible new facilities (UH regent chairman owns the Houston Rockets), a name coach, and some exposure. Go Coogs!

You just became Kansas Fan #1, LOL. Root hard for Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
Usually I like Duke but I've declared a Duke Moratorium for as long as Grayson Allen is on the team.

^I was a Jayhawks fan for that day only lol.....but I want Loyola Chi to win it all. My team isn’t in it, so I’ll pull for the underdog. What a true Cinderella story. Usually teams pull an upset in the early rounds and then lose the next, but these boys have been rolling. Na. I always liked Michigan. I pulled for them a few years ago when they lost to Louisville in
the title game. Loyola-Chicago is a great story though but all good things come to an end. Don't laugh at my funk

Loyola ran out of gas, and Michigan really stepped it up.
Villanova is just sick.
Should be a great championship game. |

I'm so glad I didn't demand a wager or something for ya.
My little Loyola gents looke like they were running and gunning on fumes. The man and the boys are always separated at some point. Hats off to Michigan. |

Loyola played with heart the whole tournament. Can't fault them for coming up short in the Final Four. They were this year's South Carolina of last year. Michigan is on a mission this year. They steamrolled their way to the Big 10 tournament title and carried that momentum into the NCAA tournament. They are gonna have their hands full with Villanova.
