The trailer is out. And now for the $64K question: How many times will I watch this thing between now and when the film comes out...in November? It's a simultaneous and moment.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I'm right there with you on this movie. I got so excited when I saw that the trailer was out, but also wasn't as impressed with the first one as I thought I would be, so I have that going on too.

I really enjoyed the first one, except for Eddie Redmayne's mumbling. (I couldn't understand a single name of his "fantastic beasts.") If he can get the marbles out of his mouth this time around, they might have something.
Still, I wish these had been books first. I understand why she didn't do it that way, but the Harry Potter books were so well written, I'd have loved a new series.

I always prefer book versions over the movies (if the movie is adapted from a book). It would have been great to have had a new series like this, full length novels, like Harry Potter.
Regarding the first movie, it just seemed the characters weren't as fully fleshed out as they were in Harry Potter. It was a great movie, but I guess I was expecting more than what was delivered. I'll watch it again tonight. (I did enjoy it enough to purchase it - but it just seems like something was lacking in it that I can't quite put a finger on.)
