Your most anticipated movies of 2018? Right now these are the only ones I'm planning on paying to see in a theater. 4 and 7 I won't see until rental if they get a limited release only. 11. Wreck-It Ralph 2

The Commuter, in which Liam Neeson apparently kills everyone on a commuter train. Can't miss! [Edited 1/5/18 8:19am]

I think that I'm going to take a leave of absence from work for most of 2018 so that I can watch all the great movies coming out. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

The movie I'm most looking forward to this year is The Avengers Infinity War. I'm not expecting it to be the best movie of the year, but it's the one I'm most looking forward to seeing. I'm also really looking forward to The Incredibles 2 and the Han Solo movie.

I was going to say Martin Scorcese's The Irishman, featuring De Niro, Pecsi, and Pacino, but it's not dropping until 2019. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

The Marvel Cinematic Universe movies are always my most anticipated, but never the best of the year. Those are almost always some indie/foreign things that sneak up on me.

A few more movies I'm looking forward to this year: Ready Player One. The book is pretty good but it's generally the kind of thing that makes for an awful movie but with Spielberg at the helm, it should be good. Hopefully. Jurassic World 2. To be honest, I don't have high hopes for this but I felt the same about the previous one and I ended up really liking it. Besides, Jeff Goldblum is back so that's a reason to see it. Isle of Dogs. The new Wes Anderson movie. Looks similar to the Fantastic Mr. Fox, which I loved. Alita Battle Angel. The movie James Cameron has been threatening to make for years is now being directed by Robert Rodriguez with Cameron on as producer. Could go either way and I'm sure it will flop at the box office but I'm hopeful it will be a good movie, regardless of its inevitable failure. Creed 2. I love all the Rocky movies (apart from V) so I've no reason to think I won't love this. Plus, Dolph Lundgren is back as Ivan Drago so it can't be bad. Although if Rocky dies, and I think he will, then I'll be very upset.

agreed. i'll certainly check out many of the big, gargantuan movies, but it's the small surprises that work their way to the surface that i look forward to the most.
