Nipple piercing..😳☺️😈 Sooo...I’m really thinking about getting my nipples pierced in the next two weeks. Does anybody here have their nipples pierced? If so, on a scale of 1-10 how bad was the pain and what was your expeierience? Please don’t judge me, I only want positive feedback. I don’t have time for childish or ignorant remarks. Thanks. 😉

Many years ago, I went with an ex-boyfriend to get his nipple pierced. In short, it looked horrific to me who was watching and he said it was incredibly painful to get done but less than two minutes later he was absolutely fine and very proud of it. If you really want it done, go for it.

There is pain, but everyone has a different tolerance or threshold for pain. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

every individual is different...asking folks on this site is a Smart move..Some claim it takes 6-months to 12-months for the healing process...If there is an infection then it could take 1yr or more.... Based on what I've read the Nipples are tricky and you have to ask yourself if you can deal with long term pain..Only YOU know your pain tolerance level...Definitely weigh the Pros/Cons...

Can you still breast feed after you take the piercings out? Always wanted to know Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS - Prince "I kind of wish there was a reason for Prince to make the site crash more" ~~ Ben |

You can’t wear a bra for a while after and you need to be so careful not to catch it. I think it’s more hassle than it’s worth. One of my ear piercings sensitised the area and it has never been quite tight since 15+ years on, bear this in mind.
It’s not like the belly button where you can’t sit down after but it’s really quite painful to get done. I have been pierced 19 times and only wear 1-3 piercings now - my nose/ears. I have to wear my nose or I have a little hole in my face but the others aren’t who I am anymore. I don’t know how old you are but the piercings I had done at 15-18 are different to what I want now at 30+ And the image I want to convey. Of course with a nipple people don’t see but as Nipple is so fashionable right now be sure you’re doing it for you and not subconsciously influenced by the magazines where everyone is getting it. Lol I’ve decided to not get it done. I’ve heard the good and bad and I don’t want to ruin my boobs or nipples. It was more out of curiosity. Honestly, I don’t even need them and I think I would eventually get tired of them or worse, my nipples would be sore and I might accidentally go over it with my loofah while I’m in the shower. Ouch! ..just the thought of it getting pulled on or infected makes me cringe 😖😖😖 ...No thanks! I’ll keep my nipples and pass on this lol 🤚🏽thanks again for you comments.

[Edited 1/18/18 8:25am] Damn, you’re brave lol. I can handle pain pretty well...buuuut nah. I’m sure they’ll look hot on me and I even pinched my nipples to kind of see what it would feel like being clamped. It doesn’t really hurt..but I know that would be a whole different story at the shop. Hahaha. Do you have rings or barbells? I like the barbell look better so I would have went with that look if I made the decision to go. Thank you for your feedback.

Seriously, if you want to breast feed, don't get nipple piercing. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

You made a good decision. Because others will continue reading this thread also: Do your research on straight vs. curved piercings. Straight is preferred for healing, less scar tissue, later nipple deformity around the piercing (migrating piercings) etc. Yes the piercings will catch and pull often, and it hurts. Don't plan on changing the piercing jewelry much. You're pulling unsterilized screw apparatus through internal raw meat, not good. Be sober when getting the piercing(s). Getting pierced hurts. No its not the same as genitals. Some people have tethered/inverted nipples or other factors. Doesn't mean you can't get a piercing, but its not necessarily like genitals. Know who is doing it, their work, and their hygiene practices. Yes, you can breastfeed after. Piercings may not close even after many years of not wearing jewelry though. Piercings may feel like you've run hardware through a nerve for as long as you have the piercing in; not a good kind of hypersensitivity. If you have a serious infection, go to a doctor. Piercings are better than tattoos and other body modifications though, less commitment.
