"The greatest film nobody's seen"

The setup: You go through the paper, browse the DVD aisles at Best Buy or are looking for a movie to rent at Blockbuster. You think you've seen everything until you discover that one film sitting on the shelf or playing in the $2 cinema...and guess what? It's actually a fantastic film.

Tell us what films you've seen in recent years that are outstanding that were forgotten by the studio's marketing machine, never found an audience and as a result died a quick death at the box office (but may have found new life on video).

I thought that the film "The Negotiator" is under rated.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

The Dark Backward

Starring Judd Nelson and Bill Paxton. Very weird but a classic in my opinion.
