Black Friday Deals - What'd You Get? Target's sales went live on their site Wednesday at 3am ET. Half of their flier was available, so I snagged a new Lodge 10" cast iron skillet for $10, and an Amazon Fire 10 tablet for $99 for my friend (early Christmas). Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Nothing for myself but I managed to pick up some Christmas presents. A few Xbox games for my boyfriend to go with the Xbox One X I already had for him. All in all I managed to save about €200 on that. Got my older sister a dress which was marked down from 350 to 150 so I saved another 200 on that. Got a few other bits and pieces for my little sister and brother and saved about 50 euro. Overall I saved about 450 but I still ended up spending a lot more than I intended. Which, I suppose is the hook of black friday. People, myself included, will buy any old crap as long as its on sale. And I'll do it all over again in January when the new year sales begin. Until then, I'll be home, convalescing from open wallet surgery, no doubt...

I had to go to the Apple Store in my mall to pick up some items on Sunday (after wasting money on dud aftermarket wires the week before). I walked through the anchor store beforehand and couldn't resist the extra discounts on winter apparel and work clothes. Spent more than I expected but got great deals at 25% of the cost. I tried to get a Chromebook for $118 but I was too late! I was getting it for a girl in my neighborhood with some learning diabetes for her schooling... "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

Nothing. I was so busy watching the sales ticker for the company I work for - and hoping we'd make our plan for the day - that I didn't shop, at all. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
