Who the heck is buying all these Chia Pet? This is a phenomena that's been going on for decades. And I'd be hard pressed to name anyone I've seen with one. Yet, year in year out the same old jiggle we get tons of commercials for this thing this time of year.

I was just discussing this with someone last weekend when we saw the latest bob Ross commercial. Obviously, people are buying this product but most just dont want to admit it.

I see folks with them all the time. No idea why anyone would be ashamed of it. It's a fucking planter in the shape of an animal or person. Garden gnomes have been around for years, front yard flamingos, or even fake deer. At least the Chia is inside. haha

I saw a Trump one the other day advertised with Obama. But the Bob Ross one is brilliant.

Uh, I did buy one for a friend back in the '90s... The one that makes me laugh right now is of the artist that had a show on PBS--Bob Ross. But, the one of Trump makes me roll on the floor.

Never heard of a chia seed until these things got popular.


I've been tempted to buy the pets but for some reason never did, it's not like they aren't everywhere. They are almost as easy to find as toothpaste.
