I read in a magazine lately about this new trend where friends (teen and twenty-somethings mostly) are writing notes/loveletters/test answers/whatever on shrinkydinks and making them into keychains to give to people. I thought it was the coolest idea.

That's kind of a cute idea!

I think I'm going to go out and buy some Shrinky Dinks tomorrow and let my kids mess around with them!

I did melt crisp/french fries packets held on a stick, over my Grandads bonfire on sunday afternoons though... Does that count??? big grin

Hey Red!

We did have them in the UK too. I remember some Tom and Jerry ones that came free inside Shreddies cereal (that used to be Nabisco - now Nestle). Coloured them all in with coloured pencils and then baked them in the oven to make a key-ring fob.

We used to shrink crisp (chips) packets in the oven too.
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

Yeah - I used to do that too, under the grill. The cheaper crisps worked best like Bermuda Triangles and Football Crazies.

I used to like the smell of the melting plastic. Mmmm...

Sure... I burned crickets and grasshoppers on a stick over the bonfire. (Never burn a cricket on a straw... plastic melts and burns like hell!)

You would like Shrinky Dinks... want some? I'll send you a package of them! smile[/quote]

woot! Thanx AzureStar, but its ok...I think I may go out and "bobbit" a man and have me a Shrinky Dinky Dick and hold that on a stick over a bonfire!!!

I heard the concept of shrinky dinks was inspired by white men's penises.
