I did!!! I loved them.

I'd buy the blank sheets (don't know if they sell these anymore), and draw my own. I also never used the pens that came with the set, but used Sharpie markers instead for vivid color.

My favorite thing to do was trace the character images off cereal boxes and make keychains.

These days they even have a special oven. :O

I loved these too!!! I had the Weeble Wobble Shrinky dinks. That was my favorite! Remember Weeble Wobbles? I had a Weeble Wobble haunted house and the little Weeble Wobble Ghost glowed in the dark smile I miss those days.

They are little pieces of plastic with designs on them that you color and then bake... they shrink up and turn into hard pieces of colored plastic. lol... smile

Edit: We are the originators and manufacturers of SHRINKY DINKS shrinkable plastics.

SHRINKY DINKS has been on the market since 1973 and has been used to create a whole variety of usable plastic items by consumers from around the world!

The basics of "HOW TO MAKE" are so FAST and EZ that ALL ages are delighted with their creations!

Simply TRACE, ORIGNATE or RUBBER STAMP...COLOR...PERSONALIZE...CUT-OUT with standard scissors...PUNCH OUT HOLES with a paper punch...BAKE to shrink...ASSEMBLE...It is truly that EZ!

We refer to SHRINKY DINKS as being MAGICAL because after baking, plastic pieces actually SHRINK to approximately l/3rd their original size and become 9 times thicker! Colors intensify and mistakes SHRINK right along with each and every piece created!

Consumers QUICKLY discover that they can transpose ANY artwork or rubber-stamped image into a HARDENED PIECE OF PLASTIC...Magnets, Christmas Ornaments, Gift Tags, Key chains, ID Tags, Name Plates, Mobiles, Jewelry, Tie Tacks, Pet ID's, Toys, Shoe Decos, Picture Accents, Greeting Cards, Stand-ups, Zipper Pulls, and Traced Photos are but a few of the CREATIVE items being personalized and made from our SHRINKY DINKS SHRINKABLE PLASTICS...

Sure... I burned crickets and grasshoppers on a stick over the bonfire. (Never burn a cricket on a straw... plastic melts and burns like hell!)

You would like Shrinky Dinks... want some? I'll send you a package of them! smile

I read in a magazine lately about this new trend where friends (teen and twenty-somethings mostly) are writing notes/loveletters/test answers/whatever on shrinkydinks and making them into keychains to give to people. I thought it was the coolest idea.
