Those one deals where the back of the box was shiny and you had these little things made out of some sort of filmy stuff and you stuck them on the printed image on the box and made scenes... I can't remember the name of these either... I usually ended up losing the filmy things...

Colorforms?

awww...look at this one...it's so cute! smile

And paper dolls were great! My Holly Hobby ones were my favorite.
Do you remember Fashion Plates? They were engraved plastic plates that you could mix and match to make outfits and then color over them onto a piece of paper.

Yes, I remember Fashion Plates! I got that for Christmas too! Did you bore of it as quickly as I did? lol... They made it look so cool on television!

They were boring...I probably ended up using the plates on play-doh or something... lol

Without saying my age. You want to scare someone under a certain age? Tell them the good old days. Pull out a 8 track tape. Whats that?
Once upon a time we used to take these and put them into an 8 track deck and play them. More screams. And it doesn't rewind. No!!!
Taking a class called penmanship and getting graded on how neat you wrote. Why?
Diagraming sentences we heard of that did you get to use a computer? No. ON a chalkboard. Whats a chalkboard?
You must be really old if you remember a time when there were no microwaves. How did you cook. On open fire or something? No on a stove. Why?
This is a record or and LP. and this is a phonograph or record player. Come back why are you scared. Whats that scratching noise? Thats the best part. The static.Smile.
You weren't cool unless you had a box. The bigger the the better. I had one with a mic on it that was attached. Why wasn't it built in we weren't that advanced yet. Smile.
sorry if that was over your head...jump up and try to catch the point next time.
