AT THE OFFICE: Advice: How to deal with @-holes coming to work sick This a-hole keeps coming in to work sick and hacking, and coughing etc. She's even got a wall dedicated to two sweaters and a ""blankey" nearby, as well as face wrap and scarf at her "cube"
What are the general guidelines for dealing with something like this without resulting reprisals, or parrying attacks of god knows what..? 2) it is a CORPORATE work environment (PLENTY OF PAID TIME OFF - she should use it to get well) 4) If this person is thin skinned, it could represent some debased accusation of harrassment etc..
5) Management has done nothing about her illness, despite others possibly having expressed disgust.
any suggestions? ♫"Trollin, Trolling! We could have fun just trollin'!"♫

At my job you have to find someone to work for you even when you are sick. Some of my employees who have worked under 6 months dont even have vacation / sick time so they don't get paid for being sick before that. If this person has sick time they need to use it right away. Do 100 push-ups every morning and it will be almost impossible for you to get sick.

not sure how you would encourage her to do this. personally, i would suggest that you address the matter through your supervisor, rather than confronting her directly. otherwise, wear a face mask (available at drugstores) whenever you are exposed to her, and if you share ofice equipment with her disinfect everything before you touch it. good luck and stay well!

If she can work she is not that sick right?
Feels like you are overeacting, just because you don't like it doesn't mean she should stay home.
Maybe focus on your work and not on her?

U seem to be ignoring the part where 3 of 4 other people acquired the illness during a two day training session. 2 got coughs, I got body aches. ♫"Trollin, Trolling! We could have fun just trollin'!"♫
