F*cking Hurricanes Not even Ireland is safe from the bastards. Just got a text from my daughters teacher telling me that all the schools are closed tomorrow because of the hurricane. Checked the news and sure enough. All schools and bus services in the country are shutting down for the day.

It had ran out of steam by the time it reached us, was just like a normal October evening. I've seen coverage of the aftermath of it hitting Ireland, though - looks pretty bad, and sadly three deaths too. Luckily enough it wasn't too bad here in Dublin. The west coast got it worse and as was pointed out, 3 deaths. A lot of people without electricity too. Everything back to normal here today though apart from the schools being closed again, which my daughter was very happy about. Seriously though, what's with all the hurricanes?
