I've been a fan of Law and Order since the original series in the early 90s. I've been pulling for L&O:SVU to reach the 20 year mark even though they have gotten rid of most of the original cast members except for Mariska Hargartay and Ice-T. But, what made the series memorable in my opinion were the who-dun-it stories about the victims and the give-and-take between the ensemble cast. Now they are down to the bare bones... Although there is still a good cast, they need better writing at this point! C'mon SVU writers! You did better stories last season! (Do they really need TWO single Moms?!!). Pick this shit up, please! You can do way better for the actors and fans! We want to make it to year 20--and go out with great stories...and bring back the original cast in the final season! Okay, rant over!

CORRECTION: Ice-T made his SVU debut in Season 2, meaning that he is not an day one original cast member neither.

I'm a HUGE fan of "SVU"...It's going to be a sad and dark day for me once that series ends. I'd like to see Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) back again if they decide to end it...But since he's been gone, I still enjoy the show...I love Kelli Giddish as Detective Rollins...and Peter Scanavino does a great job as Detective Sonny Carisi....I hate the fact that they're trying to create problems for Olivia and her young son, but she'll get through it..."SVU" is one of the few series left that I still look foward to watching.

I still love the show it's great to see Brooke Shields playing Noah's Granma Sheila, and causing all kinds of problems for Olivia. Plus over the years they have had some amazing guests from Leslie Caron to Robin Williams....and I too hope one day Stabler will return

i've lost touch. haven't watched for a couple of seasons now. looks like i need to do some catching up.
