Keuchel OWNS the Yankees...i have no faith in the Yankees winning ANY game that he pitches against them...he has given up only 7 runs in almost 51 innings against the Yankees (1.24 ERA) in his career...

One of the most intense baseball games I've seen in a looong time. Poor Nats...just cant get out of their own way. Misplayed balls, pickoffs... Must say that I like the way the Dodgers stack up against the Cubs rather than the Nats. Nats lineup is full of righties that can (and would) give Kershaw, Hill and Wood absolute fits. Cubs offense never dies either, but I like the Dodgers bats against their pitchers for sure...especially considering the absolute mess their rotation is in after the NLDS. Bottom line--the NLCS is on a friggin platter for the Dodgers to take...but they have to TAKE it. They should take both games in LA...but it isnt a given. Cubs are too good to fool around with. Should be a good, STRESSFUL week of baseball...GO DODGERS!!! Make it so, Number One...

Tanaka didn't pitch badly at all (only four singles in six innings), but lost the gave nevertheless since Keuchel as usual pitched a shutout against the Yankees. I completely expected the Astros to be up 1-0. [Edited 10/14/17 9:56am]

Verlander getting every pitch 6 inches off the strikezone called for strikes...up down in out...theyre giving him a bigger strikezone than the yankee pitchers ...its crazy

LOL...Joe Buck (lifelong Cardinals cheerleader) HATES the Yankees...and since he's lost two rings to them during his career, i would suspect Smoltz feels the same way...Severino was not getting the calls off the plate that Verlander did...not even close...Yankee batters and Joe Girardi were shaking their heads and side-eyeing the homeplate umpire all night....

I’m at a concert listening to the Yankees radio broadcast in between bands. What a crazy game. Aura and Mystique made a return appearance at the stadium for tonight at least. [Edited 10/17/17 21:48pm]

even though he was great in game 2, the Yankees handled Verlander pretty well when he was with Detroit...i think against Keuchel, there's more of a fear/intimidation factor because theyve NEVER experienced any success against him...against Verlander theyve had success in the past..3.74 era in 13 career starts...Keuchel has a 1.24 era in like 8 career starts...game 6 is the game they HAVE to win...
