My best friend dropped me like a hot rock as soon as she started seeing her boyfriend

But real friends forgive her that mistake.

It happens, gay men are just temporary sidekicks, when the real thing is not working.

She'll be on your doorstep in no time, crying cuz he cheated on her or cuz he told her she's getting fat.

It is part of growing up; making friends and then losing them. It makes the friends that DO stick around so much more special.

Yo Jo! Yo Angelika!

My best friends, in order of appearance;

Marielle, met her in school, she hated me immediately and I was too thickheaded to notice, so I presevered.
We found out we have the same sarcastic humour and none of her bf's is too happy with me.
But we love eachother, even though we both have our shortcomings.

Michael; who says you cannot be best friends with your ex? He's been there for the last eight years, not all of them easy, but worth while nonetheless.

Joanne & Angelika; we met through Virgin, love music, but share our hurt. These two ladies are helping me out during this hard time in Paris.

And besides these people, that I am in contact with EVERY day, there are so many friends, a lot who I met here!

Bram, Prince and beer buddie, Ian, Nathan, Linda, Tracy (and Daniel Abramowitz!), Pamela, my own very special Christopher, Darin, Zandi. People who I have not even met but feel a connection with beyond liking Prince's music.

I have turned my back on my best online friend, and I'm not too sure why I have? I've treated her like shit, and I've harrassed her really for no reason other than to pick a fight. And it's stupid, and childish and I hate the fact that I have done it.

But there is anger and jealousy still within me, and I am not one to back down from a fight, even though I know I should.

Sorry, just ranting!

Exorcise.

Friends do not deserve to be put through ordeals.

Battle yourself hard next time.
