Kobe couldn't even hit rim....Rasheed Wallace is the MAN!

In honor of all you Laker fools who like to start a thread everytime Kobe Bryant wipes his ass I thought I would start a thread in honor of the man who is triple teamed and still wouldn't give up the final shot.

Hello 6th seed for the Lakers.

Spare me. You can't get any more irrational than that.

1. He was double-teamed - not triple-teamed.

2. The play was designed for him to take the last shot.

3. There was 3.6 seconds on the clock when he got the inbounds pass.

4. There was less than 2 seconds on the clock when he took the shot - and such a basketball expert as yourself expects one of the best clutch players in the game to pass it with that amount of time left?

Stick to the facts, mmkayyy?

He diddn't even look to pass...and there was indeed three men surrounding him although one fell off after the initial move.

Also, how do you know what play was designed?

Anyway big grin I just find it funny when the God named Kobe fails so badly. He should have passed that ball as he never had any kind of an opening for a shot. There would have been time as he took the pass and realized that everyone was collapsing on him to dish it.

Well it looks like you will get to see the Mavs. I sure hope for your sake that the Lakers win smile

But for the record I have been telling people I know that I thought the Lakers will win it all again. But todays game will make me rethink that just a little bit. Portland is not good anymore.

Anyway I will be rooting for whomever the Lakers play.

Bzzzt. WRONG. Check the tape - I taped it, and replayed it (did you?), he was guarded by 2 players.

Also, how do you know what play was designed?

Because if you follow the Lakers enough and watch enough Laker games you've heard the coach say certain things about certain plays that have transpired. That play has been executed many times before.

Anyway big grin I just find it funny when the God named Kobe fails so badly. He should have passed that ball as he never had any kind of an opening for a shot. There would have been time as he took the pass and realized that everyone was collapsing on him to dish it.

Credibility shot.

"Fails so badly"??? You say you're a basketball expert, but why is failing to hit a shot "failing badly" when he's done it many times in his short career? Surely you can't be a novice enough to believe that every clutch player hits 100% of potential game winning shot. You gotta bring something more substantial to the table than that. disbelief

Well it looks like you will get to see the Mavs. I sure hope for your sake that the Lakers win smile

I'm really not concerned about this team. I didn't think they'd get as far as they've come, and said so months ago. Anything else they end up doing this season is gravy.

I think you are very, very emotionally attached to the Lakers, but I understand.

I really don't think I would have used the word expert unless it was in jest (but I do know more about the NBA then the average person).

I am pleased. This isn't that atypical though. Usually the Blazers will beat the Lakers in the last game of the season, only to wind up getting swept by them in the first round of the playoffs! This year, though, the win pretty much guaranteed that the Blazers will not face the Lakers in the first round. Question: who owns the tiebreaker between the Blazers/Lakers? They split the season series 2-2.

The Lakers have the tiebreak edge due to better Western Conference record.

Hey, Lovemachine you may have misinterpreted my first post because I didn't put a bunch of smiley faces in it, if so you took it the wrong way. Nothing more. It's cool.

And Moonie, your Blazers aren't going anywhere anyway, because they're the most dysfunctional basketball team in the NBA! nana

He's a decent young player and a good human being. I think his role is a bit unclear in Memphis though. His stats are all down from last season because I don't think Memphis really knows how to utilize him.

I agree. The last time I saw Memphis and Minnesota play Memphis was staying somewhat close although they couldn't shoot to save their lives. Anyway...Shane came into the game and scored like 14 points in a 5 minute stint and then the coach didn't let him see the floor again until the Wolves had pulled ahead by 15 or 20. It made absolutely no sense being as Shane was the only player that night for Memphis who seemed capable of hitting a jumpshot.

Rasheed Wallace should be mentioned with Kevin Garnett&Tim Duncan but Instead Him&Ron Artest prefer hitting the Showers early.Wallace was trying hard to get Tossed Today.all that Crying&acting in front of the Ref's.Blazers gave up 36 apiece to Shaq&Kobe&were at Home&still barely Won by 2? lakers got them where they want them&Pippen is out of there next year.leaving them Crack-Heads alone.KRS-ONE Moment for the Blazers there yearly theme Song"You are headed for Self-Destruction".Poor Maurice Checks.20 Years ago on Arguably the Baddest One year Playoff Team I've seen the 83 Sixers to this is a Nightmare.Kobe lit them Sorry Blazers&the Kob-Stopper Ruben Patterson up for 32 2nd half points but that is lost in the Argument huh?
