For those who've seen the movie - here's something that may have escaped you, together with a puzzle :

Right in the beginning, when Marty goes to meet Doc for the first time when he's about to show him the time machine, he skates past a signboard that says "Twin Pines Mall".

Then, right at the end, just after Marty's come back from 1955, and he sees the Libyans go by in their van, he skates down to the same parking lot, and....now the sign says "Lone Pine Mall"!

Can anyone tell me WHY??

(Please, do NOT Google the answer). I will reveal all not less than 24 hours from now. (Oh, and there's no defect anywhere, btw - that was MEANT to be there in the movie, in case that's what you were thinking )

My God! I was thinking that it'd be *at least a day* before I got the right answer, else I'd have to give the reply myself!! That's what happened when I tried it out with a real bunch of people once! You're awesome, Emma! You just destroyed my thread in, what is it, less than 5 mins?

Btw, when was it that it struck YOU that the sign was different? ...and did you figure out why, straightaway? For me, it DEFINITELY wasn't the first time I saw the movie, approx. 30 years ago..... I don't remember now, when it was I figured out why....

There are loads of similar things that happen over the 3 movies and Telltale's adventure game, which is essentially the 4th movie. Another example is when Doc Brown is standing on the ledge of the clock tower in 1955 one of the bricks comes loose under his feet and falls. Then, when Marty goes back to 1985 you can see in the background that the bricks are still missing from where Doc was standing. It's only a really quick shot but it's another nice touch.
