My mother passed away before I made it to Kindergarten. So I've been raised by a single dad.
Anyways, this girl I met from school is my best friend, we're the same age and she lets me call her "Mom", "Mum" and sometimes "Mother". My brothers make tease me and call her my "girlfriend" but her and I don't have that kind of relationship.

She's a good friend and understands me and whenever I need her, she's right there and vice versa.

Anyways, about me calling her that, my Dad didn't like it at first. I guess to him it felt weird. But it comforts me and I think he knows that

Oh she loves it. She embraces it. She knows it makes me feel better to have someone to call "Mom" and talk to her about stuff
