Harry Dean Stanton, ‘Big Love,’ ‘Twin Peaks’ Star, Dies at 91

Harry Dean Stanton, the actor with a gaunt, bedraggled look who labored in virtual obscurity for decades until a series of roles increased his visibility, including his breakthrough in Wim Wenders’ “Paris, Texas,” died of natural causes Friday in Los Angeles. He was 91.

The actor was also known for his roles in “Twin Peaks,” “Big Love,” “Pretty in Pink” and “Repo Man.”

Yeah, but he outlived non-smokers who died half his age. Good luck on making it to 91!

RIP Loved him in The Missouri Breaks (1976), Pretty in Pink (1986) and She's So Lovely (1997). I highly recommend Partly Fiction (2012) 4.5 out of 5 he lived an amazing life.

Kinda creepy. John Hurt's character was the first to die in Alien and in real life he was the first cast member to die. The 2nd character to die in Alien was Harry Dean Stanton's character which also makes him the 2nd cast member to die in real life.

Sucks that he died. But 91 is a good long run. So talented.
