He'd done plenty to help the marginalized, he'd done much to HUMANIZE those others who didn't see us all as human beings. He did a great lot for the betterment of humanity particularly in the USA. I'd suggest you review the man's life and look at the time he did this trailblazing fearless work. You might do well to go pick up his book NIGGER. Read it. I've got plenty of the man's paperbacks and publications and playboy readers. The man is a legend. He shouldn't be disparaged with such reductionist remarks. Long live Dick Gregory. Dick Gregory, who broke racial barriers in the 1960s and used his humour to spread messages of social justice and nutritional health, has died. He was 84.

A pioneer in many ways. Never understood why he gave Obama a free pass, except to keep those paid gigs rolling and keep his audience. And lost respect for him when he admitted in an interview to spiking a drink in order to get in bed with a lady back when he was younger.
