This past weekend was 1 of the BEST I've had in a long time!
Friday night: I just chilled; tired from a long week, & I caught a cold Thursday.. Saturday: slept late (AHH!) & then went to see "Mamma Roma" at the National Gallery of Art; then I spent HOURS wandering through the Tower Music store in Foggy Bottom; dinner at this Chinese fast food resto- I had the "shrimp fried rice".. Sunday: slept late (AGAIN! AHH!!!) worked out at my gym, went to the National Gallery of Art- this time, to see "L'Avventura", which I liked better than "Mamma Roma".. then.. Sunday evening, went to the April LOVESEXYDC event.. danced my ass off for about 4 hours straight & I MET MY 1ST EVER PRINCE.ORG MEMBER! She's from the west coast, she's really nice & she's a good dancer! We talked about several Prince-related topics.. & she told me that where she is, there are occasional Prince events.. I'll need to go out there at some point & check that out! She CONTINUES this amazing streak: I've have YET to meet in person a REAL Prince fan that I didn't like! After all that dancing, I went home & slept like a baby.. AHH! So, a very good weekend! This coming weekend will be hard to top! I'll see you tonight..

How cool to have someone write something so nice about me on the org. Thanks, mltijchr! I slept well, too, until I had to get up at 6 to catch my plane home to Cali. Then from there right to the YMCA teach my hip hop class. Talk about running on empty. But it was a great weekend -- I met a great orger and even got my sister to wear a leather skirt. __________________________________________
