Matrix vs X-Men

Saw both of these trailers last night--newer ones than previoulsy shown. X Men aint fuckin around this time. Looks leaner and meaner and Matrix looks more epic. Some people clapped at the end of Matrix trailer. I think Matrix will end up the winner due to X Men being relegated to the cominc book ghetto so to speak even though its extremely popular while Matrix is for general sci-fi fans which has a greater population. Lucky for all who dig them both nod

I really liked both movies! I didn't think I would like X-Men, but I ended up really enjoying it. I haven't seen the trailer for Matrix yet, but just caught the one for X-Men a few days ago. Hopefully, these won't be a disappointment.

I didnt like X Men that much and then Matrix tore shit up..and I think X Men creators learned form that and their last performance so trhey upped the ante on this one. Good. Woverine has a female ounterpart to fight with hehehe..and they tell him to drop the knives and he says "I cant" lol
Even Storm (Halle) is getting badass in this one

yeah I can see that happening--I have the dvd and only watched it once or maybe twice so its still not overplayed in my mind..I gotta get XMen (ducks). I got Matrix because when it came out is when I got my dvd player and that was one of those dvd must haves to shpow the performance of your player as well as a badass flick

X-men surprised me; it was good.

But The Matrix was an actual Kung Fu movie, on many levels, not just the moves.

I liked X-men the same way i liked Blade. Matrix is in a whole different league. I look forward to seeing both. And i hope their followup movie is better than Blades part 2(which was good but was missing something).

We have reached an egreement here Aaron (see, that's possible): I really don't like the Matrix because there is nothing new about it (Carpenter made it all before with they Live i think...): to me it's the prototype for the teen SF movie...

I really dig X-men and its sequel much, much more...

TRON

I really loved the original Matrix when it first came out.

But since then, everything looks like it. It seems old hat now.

And the footage I've seen of the sequel on TV looks awful. X-Men 2 however looks much more promising.

Matrix seems more true to the Kung Fu style--the hero gets so good that no one can touch him. Blade could get beat up...

Neo got his ass kicked a few times in the movie. He won in the end like Blade.

Well...he wasn't truly "Neo" until the end, when he began to believe--then no agent could fuck with him. Blade, on the other hand, just had a merely successful ending.

He always was Neo, he was just waiting for love(from trinity) to spring him. We'll see if he is invincible in the new matrix.

Yes...actually if he gets his ass kicked even ONCE in the new Matrix, I will consider the film a failure.

Plus Neo is only bad in the matrix. In real life Blade would kick his ass with ease.

That's true...but that's like asking if a lightsaber could cut through Superman's arm. JediMaster says it could not, I say it could.
