I really cannot believe this fight is on, but it is! Noted scumbag Floyd Mayweather is going to fight noted scumbag Connor McGregor. Boxing's best vs. MMA's best.

The fight is August 26th in Las Vegas.

This will be a 12-round BOXING match. McGregor will not be able to kick, use elbows, or take down his opponent and wrestle him on the floor. Therefore, I am 100% positive that Mayweather is going to clown this joker for as many rounds as he wants, and then he's going to send McGregor to La-La-Land. And whether you're talking the movie or the unconscious state, La-La-Land sucks.

The reality is there will be no winners in this. Both guys are destestable humans in my opinion, but Mayweather is more destestable than McGregor. That's why it's going to be kind of a bummer when McGregor has his head taken off.

What are your thoughts?

Yeah, but both guys are still losers. Money doesn't make you a winner.

If all-time great Manny Pacquiao couldn't land a punch on Money Mayweather, I can't see McGregor getting lucky.

Maybe though, we'll get lucky and they'll knock each other out ala "Rocky II"! But no matter what, I definitely will be watching!

Pacq v May, it was clear from the first round neither of them wanted it and were just gonna be super cautious for twelve rounds ... even the crowd turned by half way through, jerring them ... was horrendous. Of course, this played right in to Mayweather's hands and he just nibbled and picked at Pacq, barely breaking a sweat.

I'd love to see Conor push him but Mayweather is so good at dancing and avoiding I can't see it ... unorthodox should at least be interesting!

If I was Conor I would be doing spin kicks in between rounds and before the first round while in the ring just to try and get inside Floyd head

It would be funny to see his face and Conor wouldn't be doing anything wrong in warming up.

Well, what´s the whole point of this fight, then?

If McGregor can´t do what he does best, and is reduced to just boxing, then this fight is very unfair.

It´s like telling Mayweather not to box, just outrun his opponent until he faints.

Or telling Mayweather he can only use one fist, with the other tied to his back.

What makes you say that McGregor is a detestable human being? Sounds pretty harsh coming from you.

I ´m not really familiar with him. Has he done something horrendous to make you call him detestable?

Many young people adore McGregor.

I know someone who´s personally trained with him but I don´t really follow the MMA world.

The older I get, the less interested I am in people beating each other up for a living.

And I used to love boxing and martial arts.

Perhaps "detestable" is a strong word for McGregor. He's a loud, obnoxious smartass but as far as I know, he's never hit women like Mayweather has. But I do detest loud, obnoxious smartasses that I guess by definition McGregor is "detestable". But not in the way that Mayweather is.

I agree the rules put McGregor at a seeming disadvantage. I have to think there were two reasons McGregor agreed to fight under these rules: (1) he's supremely confident in his abilities, coupled with the fact he seems to think Mayweather is old and slow; and (2) $100,000,000. It looks like it costs a lot of money to be Connor McGregor, and $100,000,000 is a lot of money!
