I'm actually afraid that I might lose a great friend because I allow things to progress knowing fully well what he is about..... for me it's been twenty years but i find myself thinking about him now and again. hope he's okay. i'm a recovering alcoholic so i don't think our relative ailments would have complimented each other in a positive way back then. it is a sad story though, because when i turned him down that once, he never really talked to me again. just walked away. so imo if you go that route, be sure to word the thing properly. don't just pop out with it, ease into the topic slowly. tell him you do love him as a friend. good luck and ain't love grand? ps: i should add imo the best connection is the one that just feels right, no stressing out and no worrying jagged edges. if you find yourself more pained by the situation than elevated by it, run far and fast. just my 2c

Yup! I fell for a player and then was dumb enough to get emotionally involved. Being with a player is fine if all you are looking for is a physical relationship. If you want something more, you are just setting yourself up for a lot of heartache because a player doesn't give a rat's behind about your emotions or your feelings.

I'd say most people don't put a lot of thought or energy into anyone that they only want to have sex with and nothing else. When there enters into the "relationship" a ton of questions beginning with "why" then somebody in that relationship was expecting more and isn't getting what they expected. The question becomes, what were they expecting? If all you want is sex and some exciting moments then there should be no tears/whining/complaints when all you get is sex and some exciting moments.
Personally, I want more than that in a relationship so I look for more from square one. Nothing worse then flipping the script in the middle of whatever agreement you started with, that equals drama.

Back in the mid 80s I had a brief crush on a female basketball player.

Never had a crush on a female soccer(football) player though. Their legs look weird.

I like women with strong legs, muscular legs, no problem, but soccer player legs look weird, especially on the women.

I once had sex with an amateur volleyball player. I didn´t really , really want to but I gave in to the urge that was surrounding my penis area.

I think I ´ve had sex with a regular monopoly player but that was in the late 90s.
