I always wait til April 14, around midnight. I file electronically from home,
so it's a pretty good deal.
A little known fact (or at least I just learned it last year)
is that there are IRS offices that file for people FREE!!!
I mean big offices staffed with people sitting, ready to file for you at no charge.
I guess you have to know you are not a candidate for audit to go there though.
I saw all kinds of people there when I took a friend last year.
I'm like..."what is this place?"
They said, "We have offices all over the U.S.
We file anyone's taxes free."
Oh well, they are not open April 14 at midnight.

And what is this refund people keep talking about?
I guess I would file early too if I was gonna get a check.
As it is, I have to send a check.
