Titanic may be the worst/well reviewed film ever.

When they all died I was happy. Too bad the puffed up Director didn't also drown. Most of that film is kitsh romance bs. The same year the great Goodwill Hunting came out.

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

lol lol :lol:My goodness one of the worst

I note this movie, as the turning point of my mother and I stop going to the show. I knew it was going all down hill when my mother said, The hefa should jump... then we can get the fuck-up out of here. Some chicks were sobbing the row behind us, unbelievable. confused lol

It doesn't help when you watch a docu about the really Titanic before going to see the movie. I know I wasn't feeling the romance with the thoughts of what reallife people went thru fresh in my mind. I've never been able to get into the movie even now. All i think about is what was done for profit and all the lives senselessly lost because lifeboats were removed for luxury sake.

I wouldn't want anyone who doesn't like this movie moving into my neighborhood. Go buy a motor home or shack and stay in the woods where you belong. At least its not some shitty God and Jesus approved western like The Searchers or The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is cinematic perfection.

I've never seen it and don't plan to ever see it. But if for some unforeseen reason I do see it, I will be sure to write a comprehensive review on the "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" thread.

But don't hold your breath. Not ever seeing the biggest movies ever is some sort of unconscious thing with me. I have never seen:

Titanic
Avatar
Any Lord of the Rings movie
Any Harry Potter movie
Any Star Wars movie after the very first three they ever made
Any movie ever reviewed by Sexton, damosuzuki, or any of the other very admirable filmophiles on the "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" thread. They are way smarter and way more refined than I am
Citizen Kane

there's no way that statement is true, lol - at least not when it comes to me.

sexton is another matter. he's on a different plane entirely.

i still think you should watch the 70s remake of invasion of the body snatchers. it's great, and i'm willing to bet you'd dig it.

Kenneth Turan wrote a scathingly awesome (and absolutely right) pan in 1997. I still love this.

^ Turan is one of the best critics around, and he filleted the movie.

I never cared for it either.
