It looks like it costs a lot of money to be Connor McGregor, and $100,000,000 is a lot of money!

Yes, he is loud and he is super-confident but he also takes chances to push himself. When he lost to Nate Diaz, two weight-classes above his usual fights, he owned up to his mistakes and demanded they do it again in the same weight-class. If he had lost again, his career would have been more or less shot. Taking such chances I think is laudable.

I agree which is why I called it a schtick. And the writer above also--purposely I think--avoids calling McGregor a racist only attributing that label to his taunts.

Both fighters are in on this acting display clearly.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the taunts from both sides were scripted. The whole thing comes across like a bad WWE storyline. It's getting to the stage now where I'm half expecting Stone Cold Steve Austin to come out during the 5th round and give them both Stone Cold stunners.
